Proudly Serving St. Paul and area since 1949

About Us

Who We Are

Since 1949, the St. Paul Veterinary Clinic has proudly served St. Paul County and the Lakeland area. Established by Dr. George Bosnyak, we have had incredible vets carry on the legacy after it was purchased in 1997 by Drs. Craig and Anita Hellquist and recently purchased by Dr. Seanna Pashulka and Dr. Jasmin Teske in 2022. We are passionate about the customers who come through our doors, both furry and human alike. Through a community-centred approach, our friendly staff are flexible with your needs and recognize that every case is unique, and we will tailor treatments to each individual patient.

Dr. Seanna Pashulka

Veterinarian

In December of 2020, Dr. Seanna Pashulka officially joined the St. Paul Veterinary Clinic team. She had worked at the clinic as a high school work experience student in 2013 and as a third year veterinary student in 2019. Seanna completed all her years of study at the University of Saskatchewan. She studied Animal Science for 3 years before being accepted to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. When she’s not with a patient, Seanna can be found working on the family farm, snowmobiling or baking.

Dr. Jasmin Teske

Veterinarian

Dr. Jasmin Teske graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Biological Science and went on to get her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. Jasmin worked at the clinic as a veterinary student for 2 summers and spent one summer in Berlin working in a research lab during her studies at the WCVM. Jasmin is a lover of all things outdoors, from hiking, to paddleboarding, seadooing and hunting. Jasmin also has a soft spot for weiner dogs and loves to travel.

Angie Lock

Registered Veterinary Technician

Since 2006, Angie has been a familiar face at the St. Paul Veterinary Clinic. She graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Lakeland College in Vermillion, AB and has worked at the St. Paul Veterinary Clinic since as a Registered Veterinary Technician. A pleasure to be around for all of our clients, Angie enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding and making memories within our community through golf, slo-pitch, St. Paul Barracudas Swim Club and of course the St. Paul Veterinary Clinic.

Megan Huffman

Registered Veterinary Technician

Megan’s love of animals extends beyond the clinic and into her home with her own pets. After starting her studies in science at Red Deer College, Megan enrolled at Lakeland College to take the Veterinary Technology program prior to joining us full time at the St. Paul Veterinary Clinic. From her love of crocheting and reading, to camping and fishing, Megan is not afraid to get her hands dirty doing what she loves. Megan’s favourite part of being an RVT is being there to comfort animals during recovery and diagnostic procedures.

Jessica McLean

Registered Veterinary Technician

Originally from Stettler, AB, Jessica rounds out our team of Registered Veterinary Technicians. She completed the Animal Health Technician program at Lakeland College before coming to the St. Paul Veterinary Clinic for her practicum. Jessica joined the team in February 2014, and has brought her passion for life with her. In her free time, you can find Jessica knitting, reading, or at the rodeo.

Chelsea Miller

Veterinary Medical Assistant

Chelsea has been a familiar face around the clinic since being in high school. She graduated from Lakeland College with her Veterinary Medical Assistant diploma in 2015. She has been an invaluable member of the team since rejoining the clinic in 2023. Chelsea’s animal handling and restraining abilities play a crucial role in the clinic’s day-to-day operation. She is also responsible for relieving the receptionists’ duties if need be. Outside the clinic you can find her helping on the family farm or chasing her two girls around it. Chelsea is an avid baker and chef and also loves spending time outside at the lake or travelling.

Shauna Cox

Receptionist

Shauna grew up in Montreal and Toronto and joined our team in July 2011 shortly after moving to St. Paul. We have loved the energy and passion that she brings. As a receptionist, Shauna brings her love of animals and people to life everyday at the clinic. Shauna has an honours BA in psychology and a post-graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences. When she’s not at the clinic, Shauna enjoys spending time with her family; her husband, Roger; son, Lukas; and Jack Russel Terriers Riley and Roxey. She also likes reading, writing, watching movies, camping and travelling; as well as her volunteer work serving on the boards for BGC St. Paul and St. Paul Figure Skating.

Shania McKay

Receptionist

Shania was a grade 10 work experience student before joining our team in November 2018, with several years of office receptionist experience. Shania grew up on a farm south of St. Paul, and graduated from SPRHS. She is a certified nail technician and also enjoys the outdoors in many capacities, including camping, being at the lake, skating, horseback riding and quadding. She loves spending time with her family, dogs Stella and Lyla (Siberian Husky and Australian Shepherd x Husky), her horses and helping at the family farm. Shania multitasks between answering phones, receiving clients, ordering, data entry and many other roles. Her calm, friendly nature and passion for animals is evident to our clients and patients, as she manages our front end!
